Feb 7, 2002 - New York - Wanda & Larry had an unexpected but welcome surprise early Wednesday morning. A healthy, hearty, and energetic preemie. 6 weeks early to be exact. The expected due date was the last week of March. The early morning birth pre-empted many short term plans for proud parents Wanda & Larry. The story behind the early arrival ? Wanda's water broke early Wednesday morining, the baby was breached (inverted from the natural child birth position), and his umbilical cord was around his neck. (Boy ! this kid is going to be a handful already !) An immediate C section was ensued and Baby Timothy came out loud and boistrous for all to know that he was here. Both mother & baby are doing fine. Mommy will be temporarily switching from the trading desk to the changing table for the next couple of weeks. As for Daddy, hopefully he'll be spending less time from the snack table and helping Mommy. In the interim, Baby Timothy will be a house guest at the hospital facility for a couple of weeks until it's determined that he would not require any additional monitoring of his oxygen intake, heart rate levels, etc.
