Gus Economos died on September 11, 2001 with the WTC collapse. Gus was a dear friend to RWP. When the firm opened for business back in 1990, Gus, as the principal liaison at Morgan Stanley, (clearing agent) was extremely helpful to RWP during those important formative years.
Ten years ago, Gus, Kevin Browne also of Morgan Stanley, and I joined together to run the NYC Marathon. Next week, Kevin and I will again run a marathon, but this time without Gus. We will dedicate our efforts to his memory.
