On Thursday April 6, the lounge space located on the 9th floor cafeteria at One Pierrepont was dedicated to Marie Taranto. Marie was with the firm for 35 years. Attended by all who knew and cared for Marie, the event was hosted by RFisher, retired chairman of the firm and RGartland. The reception was full of laughter, tears and joy remembering Marie. Effectively, the area has been named Marie's Cafe. A plaque was placed there in her honor acknowledging her career at with the firm as well as her charity work. Marie lost a battle with a long illness earlier this year.
