Subject: Quote of the Year
Until you fully understand "Gustomer Service" you will never truly be "Great".
Please share your favorite Gus Quote or Gus story either by e-mail at msccg@onebox.com or on the Guestbook.
Gus' family will be putting a scrapbook of memories for his two children to remember their father by.
In addition, a compilation of the memories will be put together on this website for all of us to share in the laughter for years to come. Gus' spirit lives on.
Popular Gus quotes...
"Give a man a fish and he will eat today..."
"Teach a man to fish and he will never go hungry!"
On the lighter side.....
As Gus flexes his arm and says, "Feel That", "That's why I carry a Gun."
'I just saw your car popping a wheelie right behind a NYC Tow Truck.'

Barbers Need Your Support
May 28, 2002 - New York - After a series of tests last week, doctors discovered a cancerous tumor on RBarber and is scheduled for surgery on his spinal cord. The very risky procedure will take place as early as this Wednesday 5/29/02. In a statement made earlier today, Jean, his wife, said 'Rich is very touched by the outpouring of well wishes which are coming from so many people throughout the industry. These well wishes go a long way in keeping his spirits high and giving him the will to fight. Please keep them coming. They mean a great deal to the both of us.' Mrs. Barber also added that 'He is bound & determined to beat this.' Rich may be reached at rtbarber@optonline.net.
The Barbers have been very active in an organization called Canine Companions for Independence. CCI is a national nonprofit organization that provides free of charge specially bred and trained assistance dogs for people with disabilities. They have been very involved with the Northeast Regional Center Farmingdale, NY. The organization is currently operating at a converted pig farm at the SUNY campus at Farmingdale, but are trying to raise funds for a new building where they can help more people. The Barber's faithful companion, aptly named Morgan is a black labrador retriever 'who spends most of his time keeping an eye an Rich and staying near him all day.'
Due to recent events, the Barbers have a set of 4 complete US Open golf tickets (ground, mon-sun). They won't be able to use them, but would like to sell them to help raise funds for the building. As the purpose of this auction is for a noble cause, your warm & generous support is appreciated. To Buy these tickets click here. Starting Bid: $1,900.
Rich Barber was the former co-head of MSCCG and has held senior positions at NFS, W.I.T. Capital, and currently at Credit Lyonnaise.
