Popular Gus quotes...

"Give a man a fish and he will eat today..."
"Teach a man to fish and he will never go hungry!"

On the lighter side.....

As Gus flexes his arm and says, "Feel That", "That's why I carry a Gun."

General Leaves the Ranks,
Paganussi Heads for the Bar

December 2004 - New York - Everyone's favorite MSCCG office manager turned Guranteed Trades Czar is flying south for the winter..., spring, summer and fall too.  Crystal General, V.P.,  has made a decsion to leave the newly acquired BofA Securities clearing business (ADP finalized its purchase several months ago) and move to Boca Raton, Florida.  No career plans as of yet, but sources say 'go long on Floridian shoe retailers, there may be a sudden spike in sales'.

Mike Paganussi, client service rep, has also made a career move to resign from the clearing business and finally pursue his lifelong goal of completing the NYS bar exam.

Congratulations and the best of luck to Mike and Crystal on their new ventures in life.  You can personally express your well wishes to both of them and also see former colleagues before the holidays this coming Thursday at the final drink-fest for the year.

Hedge Funds Care Honors
Lou Ricciardelli
Lifetime Achievement Award

The following is a message from
Rich Portogallo, Managing Director
Morgan Stanley Prime Brokerage

December 2, 2004 -
I would like to ask for your support for a great cause and to recognize a good friend, Lou Ricciardelli.  I am involved with Hedge Funds Care, a non-profit organization comprising hedge fund professionals committed to preventing child abuse and providing treatment to those who have been victimized.

On February 10, 2005, Lou Ricciardelli will be honored at the Seventh Annual Open Your Heart to the Children Benefit sponsored by Hedge Funds Care at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York.  Lou will be receiving the Lifetime Achievement Award to recognize his involvement with this charity and his contribution to the hedge fund community over the years.

Please consider purchasing a table at this event to show your support for both Lou and the work that Hedge Fund Cares does to promote child welfare.  If you so choose, you can also purchase a tribute ad to be included in the program for that night recognizing his achievement.  Please refer to the enclosed information which has details for both purchasing a table and submitting a tribute ad.  Hedge Funds Care is a 501 (c)(3) entity; your donation is tax deductible.

Thank you for your support.  It would mean a lot to Lou if you could take part in this event.

All the best to you and your family this holiday season.  Hope to see you on February 10th.

Sincerely yours,

Rich Portogallo

Happy Holidays !
